MEMBERSHIP ALERT : Memberships expire June 30th. The membership chairman will be at the next club meeting, starting at 5:30 pm to process membership renewals as well as new member applications. Membership renewals can also be processed through the mail or ONLINE. Meeting starts at 7:30. Please note: New members who do not have a sponsor must stay for the entire club meeting which ends around 8:45, in order to become a member of the club.

To start our new club library donations are being solicited for books, magazines, electronic media & nonfiction only at this time.

Information of a technical nature relating to the outdoor sporting life subjects for example but not limited to all types of shooting, reloading, fly tying, gun smithing, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing, ballistics, decoy carving -you get the idea… if you are interested in establishing and passing on a knowledge base please contact me

we are in the start up phase with some details to work out based on volume of use and material

Club Socials are held in the USI clubhouse on the third Tuesday of every month. All the food, soft drinks, and beer are provided (free) – you need only to bring your appetite. Diablo Club members, family, and a guest are welcome. Come and help set up the buffet around 5pm and we’ll start eating around 5:30 pm. If you can’t get there early, please come anyway. We keep the food out until about 8 pm, so stop by on your way home from work.

Does Diablo Rod & Gun prorate dues ?

Diablo Rod and Gun Club does not prorate dues, due to problems experienced by the club when we used to prorate dues. If you become a member at any time before the expiration of the fiscal year on June 30th, your membership will expire on June 30^th. For instance, if you become a member at the club meeting in May or June, your annual membership would expire shortly thereafter on June 30^th, 2013. You can opt to wait to become a member until after July 1st, which is the start of the new fiscal year. If you become a member after July 1st, then your membership would expire the following June 30th in 2014. Also note that there is a 30 day grace period, so even though membership cards show an expiration date of June 30th, the reinstatement fee of $25 will not be charged as long as your membership is renewed before July 31st.
