SUMMARY:Air Gun Field Target- Held Monthly at the MPR
DESCRIPTION:Held on the third Sunday of the month\, @ 8:30 am\,  we shoot Air Rifle Field Target\n(and Air Pistol) at the Multi Purpose Range. \nWe shoot “knock down” type targets at ranges from 10-55 yards. The matches follow standard AAFTA rules and classes. We foster a collegial type of shooting environment where one can learn and develop skills at their own pace. Airguns vary from inexpensive $150 spring guns to full blown Anschutz match rifles. Airguns for this sport are limited to 20fpe of energy. Protective eye wear is required. Pellet projectiles only\, .22 cal and lower. Loaner guns and ammo available with advanced notice- contact Pistoleer@Outlook.com\nCost for the match is:\n$10.00 members and $15.00 for Guests\nJuniors with Diablo Member host – No Charge \nContact Martin O’Connor pistoleer@outlook.com \nDon’t forget to check in with our Air Gun forum? \nhttps://diablorodandgun.com/community/airgun/ \nThis is a reoccurring event every month- we intend to host this match barring weather or extraordinary barriers preventing the event from occurring in a safe environment. Heavy fog\, severe weather or other acts of nature could force a postponement.

It’s a volunteer hosted event\, with Diablo RSO’s that are taking their Saturday to oversee the activity.\n\nThe RSO’s are not there ( or in enough numbers) to teach a brand-new shooter or someone with unsafe shooting habits how to operate and run an air gun. We are welcoming to new shooters who already are comfortable in a shooting range environment\, who can safely handle a gun and have previously signed the online USI Waiver.\nPete Papathemetrios\nrandyrollout@gmail.com\n\n

SUMMARY:10 Meter Indoor Airgun Match
DESCRIPTION:The Airgun League runs from January through May. The shoots are on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each of those months with events for rifle and pistol. \nAll shooting is done offhand (standing) at paper targets. The format is “shoulder to shoulder”\, without point dividers\, so some shooting experience is required. There is no coaching or spotting (by another person for the shooter) permitted during the “record” firing periods. \n\nAll shoots are held in the clubhouse and there are club guns available for those of you who don’t have their own.\nJuniors (ages 8 to 18) shoot free\, but those over 16 shoot in the adult classifications.\nCompetition is by classification (shooting against other shooters in your class) except for the high overall scores. A total of twenty (20) shots are fired for record over the course of two ten-minute record firing periods. A five-minute “sight-in” firing period is held before each squad begins shooting for record.\nWe offer two relays per evening- you can shoot rifle/pistol or rifle/rifle if desired\nEveryone who shoots at least six matches has a chance to win something.\n\nAugust through December\, we offer Indoor practice on the 3rd Friday of every month. $5.00 for unlimited shooting\, 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Low key\, laid back Airgun fun! \nFor further information contact \n\n \nMartin O’Connor \nDiabloAirGun@Outlook.com \n\n925.405.6758
