Take on the challenge of shooting shotguns at crossing, clay pigeon, targets.
The Diablo Rod & Gun Club sponsors four (4) to five (5) skeet shoots during any calendar year, typically scheduled between March and October. Shoots are open (i.e., not restricted to Diablo members) and are generally for all shotgun gauges and skeet shooter classifications. The one major exception is the “Firecracker Open,” which is a .410 bore event held over the July 4th holiday; even here, any gauge can participate, but only .410 shooters can win the event. For skeet events prizes are generally awarded for “High Overall” (HOA) and the top three (3) shooters in each classification. National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) rules are followed.
