Silhouette Event- 4th sunday  from 9 – noon on the MPR for rimfire silhouette.  

Members of all 5 clubs are welcome.   

Diablo  requested a portion of the MPR (  8  positions).   We  operate concurrently with the usual USI public shoot for 2 hrs from 10 to 12.     Both the public and the match break and check targets at the direction of the CRSO.

Fees are $7 for members and $13 for invited guests.  $3 go to USI for each shooter. Fees are collected at the MPR, not at the USI Clubhouse .

USI waiver and a Blue Card issued from the USI clubhouse required prior to the match- there is no charge to these one time processes.

I call the Silhouettes in the traditional Spanish, avoiding confusion with the public shooters.

 

Silhouette shooters are called to the bench, guns pointed downrange, flags inserted.  After approaching the bench, firearms can not be touched until prompted for the live fire.

 

Upon command, shooters fire for 2 min.  After 2 banks of animals, they return the guns to the rack, flags inserted.

 

There is no gun handling except for the actual 10 shots per relay.
