Diablo Ladies Introduction to Shooting and the Various Sports

Leave the husband or boyfriend at home and spend a day with Diablo Rod and Gun Club learning and trying the shooting sports, in a safe and fun environment. You will receive one on one instruction from experienced competitive shooters, NRA Certified Firearms Instructors or Range Safety Officers. This is a non-competitive event designed to introduce women to the shooting sports with proper instruction and focused on learning safety and having fun.

These events are designed to introduce women of all ages 18 and above, the enjoyment of the shooting sports. Guests will learn about firearm safety and proper shooting fundamentals in a non-competitive relaxed atmosphere. You do not need any previous firearms experience or any equipment to participate in and have a great time at these seminars. Don’t miss the fun, sign up today!

Diablo Rod and Gun Club recommends that all participants wear comfortable clothing suitable for the day’s weather. Please wear sneakers, or light hiking/work boots, do not wear sandals, flip flops etc… You will be outside for a good portion of the day!

If you are a women 14 years or older and want to try the shooting sports, this is the event to attend!

7:30 AM – Registration:

8 to 10 AM-Orientation: Women and Firearms; A Right to Make a Choice; Firearm Safety and Responsibility; Videos; Meet the Instructors

10 till Noon-Shooting Basics: One-on-One instruction on the basic fundamentals on the range.

Noon to 1PM – Lunch

1 to 2:00 PM-Fun Time: Shooting

You bet! We will teach you the basics of firearm safety. You will learn how to load, unload, safe and shoot a variety of pistols and shotguns.

  • ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Diablo will provide you with everything you need for class! Eye protection, ear protection will be provided. A small breakfast of fruit, juice, donuts and cookies. Then a lunch with Togos sandwhiches. Safet drinks and water are provided also.

  • Yes you can! But we ask that you bring it in AFTER class is over and you can shoot and ask questions about it after class.

  • Sign ups for class are done by invitation initially then they are opened up to the general public. The best way to ensure a spot in class is to email us at LadiesShooting@DiabloRodandGun.Com we can place you onto a waitlist if a certain month does not work for you also.
  • Classes are held EVERY OTHER MONTH beginning in January then March, May and so on.
