The initial discussion of the Club logo was put fourth at our last board meeting and asked whether we should just clean up the logo we have or explore a new logo, and the board unanimously decided that they would like to look at a new logo that could better represent the club. At the member meeting a motion was made to solicit funds to develop a new logo and all but 3 people voted to develop a new logo.

The desire is to come away with a new Logo that can be used on Merchandise, Website, Letterhead and mailings.  We would like to have a Black and white version, a simple Color version for embroidery and a full color version for all other items.  All of these in High quality vector based format that can be scaled as needed.

The Design contest is typically 7 days where dozens of designers develop logos for us.  During this time we provide feedback and comments to the designers to give them direction on what we like and do not like about their designs.

As the contest only lasts 7 days, this will require you to participate daily at a minimum to review and comment on each of the proposed designs as they evolve. We will send out a link that directs you to these designs and provides a web forum to review and comment on them. At the end we expect to have 5-10 quality logos and we can select one as a winner of the contest and award the designer their cash.

After the contest is complete and we have a final design selected, we will then present this to the general membership and vote at the member meeting whether we wish to adopt it, or keep the existing logo.

This questionnaire will help provide the initial guidance to the designers. I believe we really want a clean and simple logo not a cluttered mess of stuff, but I wanted to list a number of items to see if there are any single things that everyone feels strongly about.  If there is equal interest then we will just leave it to the designers creative flow for their artwork.
