There was LOTS of wet weather this weekend but that didnt stop many members from the Diablo Rod & Gun Club in participating in a multitude of event this weekend. There was an Action Pistol orientation class that was held on Saturday and as class was going through its qualification shoot it started to rain. Some of the class attendees asked if we shoot in the rain and the answer was “of course!” On Sunday, There was a Military Rifle Match that brought people out to shoot and I guess visibility was a bit hard in the rain. Never the less, it was reported that the match was fun and peoples spirits were positive.
Again, at the Action Pistol range on Sunday there was a USPSA shoot in the pouring at times rain. 23 people braved that weather and I heard it was also a fun event and people didnt mind at all.
