Beautiful day, w light winds and air that one could breathe. The Friday before, the range was closed due to the pollution levels- Sunday morn rose clear, bright and calm. The fresh air was needed- just a glance into the parking lot and looking at everyone's cars, coated in a crusty polluted specklingling of ash and filth reminded us of what we lived through these past few weeks.

This morning, in the Multipurpose range, all was sublime.

We shoot many disciplines of Silhouette, with rapid resetting targets that moves the match along.. PCR, Springer, Rifle, Pistol classes as well as SAR:- Air pistol and Short-Range Air Rifle (SAR) are shot at 10, 12.5, 15 and 18 yards for chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams respectively. The animals are proportionately smaller to replicate similar scale distances. This match, I shot a 7 ft lb FX rifle and was as challenged as shooting a 17 ft/lb rifle in the full distance class. We've even a Varmint, or rested class. You can bench, Bucket and sticks, or use your Caldwell tripod. It sounds easy, but the winds are tricky at our range.

Hi Mr. O'Conner, are high powered air rifles allowed at the rifle range during regular hours or only during specific air rifle events? Thank you, Darren
