Anyone interested in doing some IDPA style stages/matches?

Pretty new member here. I just got back into shooting after a long break, like 25 years. I had a .45 built for IDPA matches back then, but never shot any so I would be interested in learning more about these. Do IDPA matches contribute to your USPSA classification? I just renewed my long dormant membership and I have no class. I need to get more class.
I would be interested in IDPA, but I would need to learn a bit about it.
