12.26.21 Diablo Match Report
We had cold and tough day today at the MPR range for our monthly IR5050 match. Wind was challenging and ever changing. Weather was pretty damp and cold but still ... our 11 hard-core shooters came out for the love of their sport and for the great camaraderie … certainly not for the weather 😊
Main Benchrest Match
- Congratulations to Sean who finished in First Place for the main match with 742 & 35X.
- Brett finished in second w/ 741 & 34X
- Pierre in a far third w/ 734 & 21
- Dr. Phil in fourth w/ 733 & 22
Factory group:
- Congratulations to Gordon who finished in First Place of the Factory shooters for the main match with 713 & 45X. Highest X count of all shooters !!
- Art finished second w/ 693 & 29X
- Rick in third w/ 669 & 26X
- Filipe in fourth w/ 630& 22 X
Factory Fun Gun Match
- Sean won the fun Gun Match with a perfect 250 & 9X
I want to thank everyone who braved the cold and rain to came out to shoot and help out today. Special shout out to Sean who helped set up, take down & run the match & Don Shannon helped scored factory guns.
We will have two matches in January:
1- Factory & air guns only unsanctioned match on the 2nd Saturday January 8 @ 8 AM (range opens at 7) will be shot on Bipod or sandbags only, no benchrests or tuners. Airguns are welcome and will compete against each other. Any caliber up to .30. Cost will be $8 for Diablo members or $13 for non-members + $1 optional for the 200-yard match
2- IR5050 sanctioned unlimited benchrest match on the 4th Saturday of the month, January 25th @ 8 AM (range opens at 7). Factory guns welcome and will compete against each other. Cost will be $19 + $1 optional for the fun gun or 200 yards match.
